Who is Jesus?

How can there be such confusion over that simple question? And what is a Christian?
Before I started blogging, I would have said the answers to those questions are pretty basic. Now I just don't know...
So will any one who stops by, please try to explain the answers to those three questions.
1. Why pray?
2. Who is Jesus?
3. What is a Christian?
bonus question: am i just kidding?

Prayer reminds us who is in control and opens us to a deeper relation with Him.

Jesus unblemished, yet tempted, forgiveness for my blemish, having paid my debt,
the very air we breathe

a Christian is someone who acknowledges their need for Jesus and works to help others see and draw nearer to realizing that need/satisfaction,
someone who sees Jesus as the pyrex through which God sees Himself in us

I wonder about prayer sometimes. I grew up in a church that pushed the "prayer list" notion, and it just never worked for me. What I realize a while ago, and still must remind myself, is that prayer is talking with someone who deeply loves me and whom I deeply love. Nothing needs to happen, for it's the conversation that matters.
